Personal data
The information entered in the contact form (last name, first name, company, email address, project description, budget) is only used to answer your request and, where relevant, to send you a proposal. It is intended for ROUSSEL.STUDIO, is never sold or transferred, and is kept for three years after our last exchange before being deleted. This processing is based on pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
Technical providers process some of this data on our behalf: hosting of the site and its data (OVHcloud, in France), notification emails (Resend) and bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile). When one of them is established outside the European Union, the transfer is governed by the Data Privacy Framework or by standard contractual clauses.
The home page loads its 3D animation from Spline’s servers, which receive your IP address in the process.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you can access, rectify or erase your data, object to its processing, or request its restriction or portability by writing to contact@roussel.studio. You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
Cookies and audience measurement
Necessary cookies (no consent required): storing your cookie choice (6 months), the site language (1 year) and, if you enter the password of a protected project, that access (30 days).
Audience measurement (only with your consent): Google Analytics sets “_ga” cookies kept for up to 13 months, to learn which pages are viewed. This data is processed by Google Ireland Limited and may be transferred to the United States under the Data Privacy Framework. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the “Modify cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page.
Site statistics (no cookies): we count page views, visits, clicks on certain links and contact forms started and sent, along with the country, the type of device and the website each visit comes from. To do so, your IP address and browser identifier are used for a brief moment and never stored: they are used to infer the country, to filter out bots and to recognise the same visit during the day, through a one-way fingerprint that is recalculated every day and deleted the next day. No cookie is set, nothing is shared with third parties, and the figures, grouped by day, are deleted after 13 months.
IP address country and network: free ip-location-db databases, built from data by DB-IP, RouteViews and the NRO (Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license).
Applicable law
This site and its terms of use are governed by French law. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Brest.
