Introduction
The French Basketball Federation entrusted us with the creation of a poster celebrating the outstanding performances of the French 3x3 basketball teams for the 2023-2024 season.
The brief was clear: highlight the major victories of our national teams, such as the men's Olympic silver medal, the Women's Series gold, the women's European silver, and the U18 world bronze.
Approach
We chose the colors of the French flag, complemented by grainy textures and graphic elements such as grids and markings specific to 3x3 basketball.
These visual choices, combined with the inclusion of the year and discipline, reinforce the context and firmly ground the poster in the world of this urban sport.
We opted for a "mirror" composition to showcase the players, creating perfect visual balance.
The photo treatment was carefully designed to feature cool tones, aligning with the artistic direction of the poster.
Adaptations
The final design was adapted into multiple formats to suit different communication channels: a primary print version in 40x60 cm for event posters, and adaptations in 4/5, 9/16, and 16/9 for social media platforms.
